I'm Lizzie posting my first post on my new blog! I hope to amuse my readers with diverting posts about anything and everything to do with Jane Austen. I hope I am able to live up to the high standards of blogs I have seen and please forgive any mistakes as I just begin to warm up to blogging!
Your affectionate friend,
I can't wait to read more of your posts!
ReplyDeleteI hope I can live up to expectations :)
DeleteWelcome to the blogging world! Your blog is just so creative and nice, love it! Can't wait to see all the things you dig up about these adorable and amazing characters.
ReplyDeleteThank you !!! i hope i please :D
ReplyDeleteYour blog design is so elegant! Love it! I am also a fan of Jane Austen's books. My favorite Elizabeth Bennett is Jennifer Ehle.
ReplyDeleteThat is down to my wonderful friend Miss Woodhouse but thank you!! ;) and I hope my future posts are of interest to you :D
DeleteI prefer Ehle too but the chemistry between Knightley and MacFayden is great and I love MacFayden!! ;)
Welcome to Blogger Mrs. Darcy. I assume that your husband doesn't mind your blogging activities?...hee hee haa haa
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lacey; your blog is very creative. One thing you may want to consider is turning off the word verification for people to post comments. I used to have mine turned on until one day a very successful blogger whose blog was featured in Romantic Homes magazine told me that I should turn off that word verification because it deters people from posting regularly. I took her advice and I am glad that I did. Of course it is up to you to keep it on, but it is something to think about from one new blogger to another. I am still learning the ropes and whatever I learn that is helpful I like to share.
Love and Hugs,
Xenia
Thanks Xenia!!! I will do that. How exactly? ;)
ReplyDeleteWow well done successful blogger, a very successful blogger indeed !!
And as to my husband ... ;) there is no real husband at 16 so that alright ;) but as to my Blogger husband... Darcy doesn't mind ;)
On your dashboard just go into settings to turn off the word verification if you decide to do it.
DeleteYes, I did mean your Blogger husband. :-)
Oh I see that you already turned it off. Great!
ReplyDeleteOh, btw, you seem more mature than 16. Your parents seem to be doing a great job raising you. It is wonderful that you are loving and appreciating the classics.
ReplyDeleteyes i have done it :) and i thought you must have ;) well i am being nice about him on here at least ;)
